I think I am an Illusione whore

After a hiatus due to sinus surgery I have been slowly reintroducing cigars. After a layoff of several months, and some suggestions from Cigar Pass members to take it easy reintroducing cigars and go slow while see where my palate is at I have been trying old favorites,

So, while I still am going slow and gradually widening my horizons and expanding to stronger cigars I believe one thing is settled.

I am an illusione whore.

Everything Illusione I have smoked really tastes good. Tatuaje is still good, but some seem a little different. CC's are still really good and por larranaga Encantos will remain an all time favorite.

Even so, at the moment - the smokes I am enjoying most consistently are Illusione.

Will be really interesting to see if that is what I think in a year or two.

You know the old saying, once a cigar slut always a cigar slut. :)

Yes. Dion has managed to maintain the quality while others go all to hell, too.

I'm a big fan of the small and inexpensive Illusione *R* Rothchildes. Can't beat them for the price.

So you like Illusione's you say? You better pick up a box of ECCJ 20th while you can.

Illusione is one of my favorite brands. It makes it hard to try new things because when I'm shopping I always want to get at least one or two Illusiones.

Glad you're feeling better!

I had minor sinus surgery years ago and it wasn't very much fun.

I'm on a Illusione kick as well so any posts to this thread from seasoned Illusione fans that start off " You better pick up a box of...." Is going to immediately cause me to reach for the wallet. Thank you for the recommendation. Looking forward to trying these.

umm, quote not working for me -

Backslide, thanks for mentioning that, and reminding me of them. Bought a box, but they came in while I couldn't smoke and I forgot about them. Need to see what I think while I can pick up some more.

Welcome to whoredom. Mjolnir is our pimp.

Gavin, I was going to say the same thing about you!

My local will have Illusione 20% off (along with a 10% CRA membership discount) the first week of March.  Must be patient...

"Illusione escort" ???

I second the rothchildes, amazing short robusto for the price. I have an epernay le grande sitting in my humidor waiting until this cold New England weather warms up!

IMHO the best cigars Dion makes are in his Epernay line!

Agreed... for my money it's a toss-up between the ~eccj~ 15th and the Le Matin.
