Let's say your dog eats your smokes, or the wife throws them out, or you give all your cigars away to a charitable cause or a newbie. What THREE boxes of cigars (or bundles or whatever packaging they come in) would you buy?

For me it would be

1) Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Robusto Grande

2) JR Ultimate Cabinet (Sungrown)....size TBD

3) Remedios Maduro....size TBD

Humble tastes I know but this is taking into account price. This is not an "If you had all the money in the world" question.

Monte #2
Padron 3000 or 4000 Maduro (becasue this is not an all the money in the world contest)
Partagas 898 varn

A. Fuente Short Stories

A. Fuente Hemingway Maduros (any size)

Romeo y Julieta Exhibition #4s

I'd have to say...............

LGC Serie R #5's - social smoke

cigar.com Robusto Rejects - daily smoke (50 for ~$50)

Monty #2's ISOM - Special smoke (thanks for the primer SD STACK)

*AND a couple 5 pack samplers so I could still have something good to trade and/or whatever I could get into some of these guys' humidors with*

M. Gipson :)

1. Mag46

2. AVO77 or AVO Maduro Belicosos

3. Cohiba Siglo III

I like that. That's a good variety.

As a noob on my old college budget:

1. Onyx Reserve Mini Bells
2. La Vieaja
3. Bolivar Fuerte Petits

As a noob with my current budget:

1. LPH Black Pearl Grand Robusto
2. VSG Torp
3. RyJ Ex. No. 4 ISOM or Monte No. 4 ISOM

Cheers,
Dixie

Oddly enough, I've been thinking along these same lines lately.

1. Partagas Serie D 4
2. Savinelli ELR
3. Butera Signature XL

OR

1. RyJ Reserva Maduro
2. Connie 733
3. Torano Exodus '59

OR

OK, stopping now. :D

MY 3 boxes would be:

1. AF Chateau Fuente
2. Padron 3000
3. RyJ Reserve Madurol (Silver Band) Just had one other day and really liked it..rare for a RyJ to be so memorable for me!!

I believe I will have to buy these anyway...Thanks alot for starting this thread... :D :D

I am about in that possition, cept what happened o my smokes is that they all burned up in a series of tragic fires :p

Connie #30M
Padron Londres M
Chateau Fuente Sun Grown

Padron 3000s are definitely competing for a spot in the starting lineup, but for now they are seeing only bench duty as the Remedios is very close in taste.

Padrón 1926 Serie Maduro #9
Opus X Maduros (or if reality intervened, a box of Opus X Perfecxtion #4's)
VSG ERs

Gurkha Aged Cameroon Perfectos
Juan Clemente Churchills
Hemingway Maduros

In no particular order.

Let's see...

1. AVO Signature (22s or 77s if I could afford them)
2. RyJ Ex. No.4 ISOM
3. LGC Serie R No.5

I think that would give me a pretty good variety of tastes, strengths and prices.

Wow, I think the RyJ Ex. No. 4 has the lead so far  I figured that Monte No. 4 would be on everyone's list. I think a while back there was a thread that had several people reporting that their first ISOM was the Monte 4.

Cheers,
Dixie
