Looking to find out what was auctioned and who donated it. Rather than my usual subtlety : The point is it appears OR opus were auctioned and they may have come from the same source as Spivy's several botched group buy efforts. If this is the case has anyone involved notified the winners so these don't get recycled into trades/passes etc. or sold under mistaken pretenses?

I would be concerned about any OR Opus/Anejo that was donated and auctioned for that event. I agree with Phil on this we need to make sure these cigars don't get circulated as sales or in passes.

I am not sure who told you that, but I do not recall any being auctioned only given away and smoked. I have notified all of the individuals I smoked them with that the ones they smoked where fake. Israel can confirm or deny as he kept pretty detailed written records of the auction items.

I am not however saying that Ed did not give any away at the even because he did, I also notified those individuals I remember him giving them to that they where fake.

I did win one of the auctions for an OR Opus X Reserva d' Chateau donated by spivy. I think that my bid was $55. This was a benefit herf for Bill Miller and all proceeds went to him.

No involvement what so ever I bought smokes and lost a thousand dollars, end of story. I owe no one an apology. My credibility speaks for itself. I have never taken anyone or done anything shady. I just don't like the idea of someone sticking their nose in my buisness and taking food off of my table. I have been here for while and have tried to participate and be an asset to CP. If you don't agree than that is your buisness, but I won't be made to look as if I did anything wrong. I sent an apology to Joe the first time he berated me in the original thread. I have not done anything to him since then. Again I have done nothing wrong. I have had no dealings with Ed since the incident accept for getting payment.

Lou...I have 2 Opus ORs (Perf. #2 and RDC) that were part of the HERF, but I have it listed as part of the raffle. If you say you paid for an OR in the auction, then it's my mistake. Sorry about that. This info was taken from the latest list I made for the raffle, but I remember that some changes were made right before it started. Example...AVOXO donated some stuff that was initially intended for auction, but then went for raffle. So I assume the same went for these, since I initially had them listed for raffle. Sorry for the misinformation, everyone.

I'm a bit lost..............I didn't realize there was an issue with Jim still going back to this here, or on ICC. As someone who likes both of you, but would like to be in the know. Do you mind explaining, or giving me the cliff notes version of what you are talking about please?

All this other shit is secondary to the point, which is trying to hunt down where and to whom these sticks may have been disseminated. Thank you Isy for providing me with the info you have. My other issue is he states that Joe berated him over at ICC and he didn't. It was Joe who got gang tackled over at ICC for even asking about the issue with having Spivy being a member in good standing on there.

I bring this up here because it happened here, with members here and migrated over to ICC when Spivy was banned here and started to post over at ICC.
