It's very clear to me why he went over there, just like Purobrat, Alex, etc.

Some of these guys who are relatively new to the boards think they can come in and instantly gain respect and clout. I would say thay this takes years to accomplish.

SFG is clearly there on a power trip. He seems to enjoy it. Alex is a young guy, mesmerized but the lure of having rare cigars, clout on the boards, etc.
I never cared for Scott that much but Alex was a disappointment.

PB continues to use the same old mooch techniques and he knows that everyone's on to his game here, as well as other places.

I don't know if you know this but you are becoming quite the topic of conversation around here and on CigarSnobs with your "moderating" or lack thereof on LTC.

I always used to like you espcially since you were never one to hold back when it came to people like Barney but you go over to LTC and DEFEND scum while completely abusing your moderator privileges. At the moment, I am very concerned with the way you handle yourself over there, covering up for PB and larrynj and other jerkoffs while you turn around and abuse people for no good reason.

You delete posts, threads and topics to "cover the evidence" so to speak which as you should be well aware is a very bad way to run any kind of on-line BB

I saw what you did to that SaintLuisRey guy which was absolutely ridiculous. larrynj has been a troublemaker from the get go and you do nothing to him when he clearly baits and looks to make trouble.

SaintLuisRey gets your nose out of joint and you start bending the rules against him when he did not violate them. You assign him two of your lame "strikes", larry baits him again, you STILL do nothing about larry's bull$hit but then go back and find another reason to assign SLR some lame 3rd strike hours after the fact. I see that you do not date and time stamp when you alter people's posts. Now THAT is realy bad and sleazy and you should know better.

I would suggest that you clean up your act and stop behaving so poorly on that lame-assed LTC site because you are seriously damaging your reputation here, CW, HP, CF, CigarSnobs, Club Stogie and cA.

In case you haven't noticed, LTC is becoming the biggest joke among cigar boards and you are bringing it to a new low with your actions.

Just a follow up, larrynj only came over to LTC when he heard gamelover had showed up. If you look at the 90+ "posts by larrynj" you'll see that less than five have anything to do with cigars. He's a trouble maker pure and simple (which I actually find amusing since LTC needs as many trouble makers as possible :laugh: ).

Oh and today Scott posts how "we're trying to lighten things up here" okay you liar, then why did you delete a bunch of posts, lock threads and artbitrarily assign your lames "strikes" if that was true?

Scott is a arrogant know-it-all on a huge power trip and he's having quite a time of it. Too bad Zac it too stupid to see how Scott is bringing LTC down to its lowest level yet.

Hmmmmmmm, I just thought of something, maybe Scott's doing this on purpose just to destroy LTC. An interesting possibility ;)

Leebo I am not out looking for rare cigars... I am not about getting freebies.. Luckily i have the means to get cigars.. as you know.. I am not a mooch..like a PB.
I am just here to enjoy cigars ant the brotherhood....not for the politics..
HAVING CLOUT on a cigarboard is not something for me. I have made some good friends to herf with here and I have also had some great trades with some of you.. and I hope to meet some of you face to face one day to herf with.
So I will continue to enjoy my stay here and hope to stay an active member here. SO you can continue to make a big deal out it.. But like it or not Your friend Alexgtp is here to stay!! :D

This is why I left there! I dont see any reason someone should get strikes against them for airing their comments. So what if someone said my post was gay, or called me a dork. I thought the picture was pretty humorous myself.

I left because I was tired of watching all of the gestapo tactics and sh*t. "Oh, he's picking on me, make him stop!" Teacher, he called me a bad name, hellllp meeeeee. That bonehead LarryNJ has about as much mental capacity as a mouse. He needs to grow a pair!

Why must they moderate until the cows come home. I cant believe there are people who actually enjoy getting their pee pee slapped for picking on someone, or for speaking their mind. Unless they start getting really rude by using excessive profanity, let it go!

This is AMERICA! Let the people speak, dammit! I thought all of that Nazi crap went out with Hitler. We have mods here, but you really dont see them much, this is how it should be, we're all adults here.

Ok, rant over. Thanks to those of you who spoke up to the mods over there, but really, they just dont get it, and I doubt they ever will! Let's let them have their "Utopia" and just keep doin it our way here, thats what Im gonna do. :thumbs:

I wouldn't get too bent out of shape guys, it'll all work out in the end and eventually be a barely remembered footnote in history. Didn't we have a big dust up of sorts a while back with a site called stogie chat I think it was. It's been too long ago so I don't really remember the details, perhaps others will. I don't even remember the thread it was in now after all this time. There was something there though about cp members being banned and such and that has all ended up working out and being forgotten about. I'm sure this will all blow over in the end as well and work out just as well as that did. :thumbs: :) :) :)

I just noticed LTC doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Theres no threads or even forums listed when you go over there. Perhaps they are making some changes to the site. It will be interesting, perhaps a little telling even, to see what changes there are or aren't when it does come back up.

Interesting, making it an "invite only" forum is a joke. What kind of COMMUNITY is that? Not how you go about running a reputable forum. CP will always remain open, even if you get banned here (which is EXTREMELY rare), you'll still be able to read the forum.

LTC has just sunken to a new low, and I didn't even think that was possible. :D

LTC lasted a whole two months and you drove the final nails in the coffin of the Island of Misfit Toys :thumbs:

Now larrynj, PuroBrat, corey, Oblik, Zac and the rest of the selected few losers can "letstalk" to themselves and the legitmate cigar boards will no longer be subjected to their mooching (PB), scamming (Oblik's box splits of fake Havanas), overzealous moderation (two guesses on this one :laugh: ), vulgarity (corey), pathological lying (Zac), immaturity (Zac again!), masterbaiter (larrynj), trailer trash (WayneSMT) just to name a few.

These are happy times :laugh:

I sent you an e-mail last night, but I'll add a few things here. Just to let you know-I haven't purposely been ignoring you. For some odd reason, I can only access CP here at work, not at home. If you look at MonkeyK's pass, you'll see that he posted my puts and takes for me. There is a reason why I went from about twenty posts a day down to zero, and believe me, it's not due to ignoring CP. Rod knows of this situation as I e-mailed him about it. According to him, I'm all set to go. I have no idea what's going on, but that's o.k., since I'm a workaholic, I can check in periodically an know what's going on.

Second-I don't owe you or anyone else an explanation for my moderating at other sites. O.K., you think the rules are stupid, you think I was unfair. For being a site that was an island for misfit toys and children, you sure do seem to have quite the preoccupation with it. Yes, Zac spammed CP. He apologized for it awhile back and Rod accepted. Check the thread yourself. You and your friends however, have yet to apologize for doing the same thing to LTC for what is now the second time. LTC failed because you folks willed it to fail. You spoofed ISPs, made new usernames, and generally just raised chaos. For the three posts that Zac made, you guys posted close to fifty. I PM'd Sam and Lee about possible compromises, but they wanted nothing of it. I tried to be conciliatory about things, but no one was even willing to meet me halfway. Zac doesn't want to make it invitation only, he hates the idea. But what else can he do? As long as you guys think that his site is yours, things won't change.

Third-Smear me on all the other boards you want. There is one thing you can't argue about. While my abilities as a moderator can be questioned, my dealings with other people here when it comes to cigars is undisputable. If my reputation is not based on my cigar actions, but rather, my popularity with six guys who are unhappy about what I do on another board, then I'm willing to take my chances. I don't have to check in with you when it comes to visiting other cigar sites. moki doesn't have to, and I'm not about to start either.

I tell ya what. We're going to agree to disagree. I'm going to complete BD's pass and perhaps do a split or two in the near future. I'm going to participate in the lobby on occassion, though not as much in the past as for reasons stated above. If you guys want to continue this, be my guest. I had no idea that a person was done here due to a popularity contest. :whistling: With that being said, I'm going my own way here and as far as I'm concerned, this dispute is settled.
