my biggest problem is the prices will skyrocket up 10 cents a gallon a day, but when the prices come DOWN, it takes MONTHS just to drop a few cents.

and they profit BILLIONS of dollars per quarter... bastards

Exxon and Mobile are owned by the same company if memory serves me correctly. we can send a message by not buying gas for a month or so. one day is nothing to them.

Rather than not buy gas for a day, I wonder what would happen if we all chose to not use gas for a day.

Well 2 years ago I worked at a gas station, yes Exxon/Mobil are the same company so I doubt the Ex-CEO of coke would make that mistake, however there’s are multiple companies besides Exxon/Mobil that control the other percentages of the market. One would have to do serious research into franchises to find what franchise uses Exxon and what uses companies like shell. Further more it wouldn’t surprise me if Exxon when and sold there oil at a reduced price to the competing companies to stay afloat until normality returns to the consistent buying.
