Arturo Fuente recently had a "Cigar Family Conference" in which a select few people were able to get a tour of the tobacco farms and rolling facilities down in the Dominican Republic. The images are a fascinating insight into the Chateau Fuente facilities. Even if you don't like Opus X/AF cigars (ie, you're slightly crazy ;) ), it's a really cool tour of a cigar facility:

The "Dan Marino" football cigars are crazy, and Arial's special creations are stunningly beautiful.

Here are some pictures of the actual farm:

Cool stuff.

(and no, I didn't go -- just passing along the URLs because I thought it might interest people)

Very cool pictures, thanks for the links!

now if that football doesn't give you a nic. rush, you must be dead! :D

interesting to see the "Mother of all Sharks".

those pictures make me sad since i have a measly 4 opus X's as of right now :( , anyone know how or know who to get any of those footballs or other multi colored cigars?(yes i know they are unavailable to the public but still, id kill for one of each)

A box of 12 of the footballs sold at auction for $13,000. The money went to charity.

I wouldn't sweat not having one. ;)
