I'm sure some of you have noticed this annoying bug over the last couple months. On January 24, 2018, iOS 11.2.5 addresses the iMessages out of order problem that started occurring after the release of iOS 11.2.1. Updating your iPhone should fix the problem for you!....

I've updated to current....still doing it as of this morning. Apple says they're working on it, but haven't. They're still trying to get that throttling issue reversed under the guise of...'we slowed your phone down to help preserve our cheap Chinese made battery'. Lying bastids.

Gary, I think I ran across you on another forum talking about it. Anyway since the update I haven’t had the problem but now I’m about to text my wife real fast and see what happens. I’m starting to dislike Apple.

If the texts come in at a slow pace, they arrive in the correct order. But if you're going back & forth quickly...they arrive out of order. Having to scroll upwards to see the last text sent by the other person is a real PITA. This could be my last Apple phone...and I have two...one personal and one for business. My son & daughter use them as well and we are all a bit frustrated at this point.

Just happened again a few minutes ago. Worse part is, you hear a notification of a new
message coming in accompanied by a banner...the banner reads of your last text. AGAIN you have to scroll up to see the new one.

Getting really aggravated about this simple task that Apple is not addressing.

Another thing I’m noticing since the last few updates, when typing, the phone automatically capitalizes the first letter of a common word in the middle of a sentence. Whenever I type the word Cigar...it capitalized the c....like it just did in this sentence.

Testing weird cigar caps negative here. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.

Neither of our phones are doing that.......oh, wait.....our phones are Samsung Android.....:D:p

Ding ding ding! I love being the only Samsung in our household. I don't have to fight anyone over a charger, the other 4 people can't keep an apple charger to themselves, if life depended on it.

That capitalization issue, is it the same word(s) all the time, or random words?

If the same, could be a Capitalized word was saved within whatever Apple calls the "user defined dictionary."

Random it seems. How many times I do start a sentence with the word 'cigar' for it to learn this? I just noticed it's the first option as I type the word, second option is lower case...weird...it does the same thing with the word 'world'. Somehow I have to clear this predictive cache out and start over.

Perhaps you used the word cigar as part of a proper name, and Apple tried to out think you....

No.... my business is home inspection and every time I type the word Home like just back there, it capitalizes the h and I have to go back and correct.

So " JFields' Home Inspection " wouldn't add home with a Capital H to the dictionary?
