Is Aging Always Better?

Well my follow up question to this whole aging thing would have to be: how long for particular cigars? Both cheap domestics to high shelves to cubans?

My experience with aged cigars has been very limited but with the exception of aged cubans (only a couple) I didn't find that major of a difference between fresh off the shelf and year to two year old cigars other than in the body of the cigar itself, normally harder than buying fresh from the shelf.

Well I have noticed that cigars I have had that are 2-3 years are different that OTT. The flavor profile seems to be more consistant from begining to end. Almost all have burned really evenly(I attribute to evaporated oils). For a lot of cigars, this is just the toddler stage of ageing.
