Is it illegal for soldiers....

If it was off limits, I'd have been out of a job. Actually it depends on the VD rates. If you ain't got a lot of guys coming into sick bay with the clap, the powers that be turn a blind eye. On the other hand, if there are, shore patrol puts the clamps on the place. Listen up lads, this is no shit, did I ever tell you guys the story about the time I saved 2/5 from the Black Syph?

Doc.

Well here in Brussels, and also in Amsterdam we all know it is a legit profession.
No one really talks about weather it is off limits or not.

Just so you know, I am not thinking about going

Along the same lines, is it against the rules for soldiers to "partake" in usage of substances that are legal in, say, Amsterdam that are illegal in USA??

It's a popular misconception that those substances are legal in Amsterdam. They are not.

Doc.

only illegal if you get caught...

Tim Tim Tim... tsk tsk!

Come on now, I have not, nor do I plan on ever taken part in what goes on in that part of town.

It has been asked by a few people that I work around.

Jus' funnin' with ya! Need a little levity right now, so it's at your expense for now.

We we killing again? I'm finally able to sit at the Xbox machine again...

In my time in the PI there was a place called "the Bush" that went on and off the allowed list frequently. It wasn't really one place but an area outside Olongapo.

It's off limits! It's called human trafficking and we get trained on what to look for. Doesn't the Army do this type of training? It's standard AF training on a yearly basis. even if it is legal in the country you are visiting or stationed at.
