My vote went this way:

Yes BUT only if the BUYER publicly discloses the sale FIRST.

If I out myself first, then I see absolutely no problem with it. :D

Floyd, MattR outted you a long long time ago bro! Everyone knows your dirty little secret!

I truly believe it is a PRIVATE matter...
If the buyer chooses to disclose that is his business, but, I prefer privacy in regards to my buying habits :)

Essh! could you imagine if our credit card companies could talk??!!?

Let's suppose that one of the fine BOTLs on this forum sends you a PM offering to sell you some very nice ISOMs. You, of course, jump at such a generous offer and immediately get the MO in the mail.

Would you then put up a post thanking this fine BOTL for granting you the privelege of making this purchase?

ONLY IF YOU WERE AN A$$HOLE WOULD YOU DO THAT!

Private transactions are just that.....PRIVATE.........

PRIVATE MATTER. Vendor should never mention who orders what.

TBS/SC/ET = Biggest joke among cigar retailers and cigar forums. Would never do business with such an unreputable individual or 'company'.

TBS/SC/ET needs to be blacklisted.

Hi, coventrycat86! Happy 2006! No, it is a private matter, unless the vendor first obtains your written permission to make such a post. This is just plain good ethical business practice. Regards, knightlaird

No. Plain and simple.

If the buyer should happen mention what they bought from a vendor on a site, and that vendor feels compelled to reply they should post something like this:

"Thanks for your support/patronage. Hope you were happy with your purchase"

I voted NO.

Has this been an issue in the past? Can't imagine a business with any sense at all just up and posting a transaction publicly.
