Is there a better song?

Empty Chairs at Empty Tables

or

Gethsemane

and one by my brother's old bands:

Unspoken Truth
(I'll post a link if I can find a way to host it)

This song is the best,I think its by the mavericks "Its hard to kiss the lips at night that chew your ass out all day long" love it

Hudson, I have a version of this song done by a group out of New York named "Donna The Buffalo". It's very interesting and I'll be happy to send it to you if you'd like!

Let me know ;)

That's the one - one of my favorote songs of all time. I've lost more than a few friends, both at home in Detroit and in the military. This song means alot to me, regardless of its origin (although I like Les Mis too)

Yep... good song, but sad. I understand it's been adopted as the unofficial theme song of the homosexual crowd, regarding the aids victims.

This is a great song. Very moving. I especially understand it in a 'brothers-in arms' context from the play.
Personally the most moving song from the score is "God on High".

If you mean "Bring him home" (Disc 2 Track 17) Then I almost agree. Yes it is a powerful song, and I can see why it would be the favorite of most people. It just doesn't hit me the way ECET does. It's hard, with a story so full of powerful and moving songs to really draw any lines, though. They are all great. A decade ago when my neice was only about 8, she used to sing "Castle on a Cloud" whenever I didn't capitulate to her tantrums, as if I was treating her like a slave. I thought that was hilarious (but she still had to go to bed...<grin>)
