Anyone who has a wishlist is at stage one of the mooch cycle....

Most of you ahole twits don't know how to mooch sh*t from these guys and if you do make an attempt it should at least be painfully obvious that its only effective if you do it without broadcasting the fact that you are actually mooching.

We now return you to your regular broadcast........

Anyone who has a wishlist is at stage one of the mooch cycle....

So if I have a post in the wish thread, AND a wishlist in my profile - does that make me Level 2?

:whistling:

How does it apply when you send someone a smoke off their wish list...That means you maybe a Level 3 Mooch. :sign:

When you actually send someone something off their moochlist, I mean wishlist, it drops you down two levels. You should know better. A good mooch rarely returns the favor.....

Before this thread turns into a flame fest, here's my stand point. Over the years we've seen many moochers come and go (usually they get banned). Personally, I see nothing wrong with having a wish list in your profile. CP is about sharing and trading cigars, and most of all, having fun. If someone wants to full-fill someone's wish list, then so be it. If I had a wish list on my profile and someone sent me some cigars, I'd return the favor. Wish lists are great for Secret Santa, too.

In any case, Melissa's post has clearly stirred up some controversy. I think it's clear this community does not like the idea of people "mooching" cigars. A moocher is someone who comes here for free cigars, yet never PIF's or returns the favor. We had a few guys in the past who claimed they were poor and couldn't afford cigars, so some of the guys here felt sorry for them and sent them cigars. Well, my standpoint is, if you're poor and can't afford cigars, either don't join the community or don't mooch.

I'm not one to take sides. Whether Melissa was looking for free cigars or not, I don't know. Bottom line is this community has been burned by moochers in the past, so some of the guys take this very seriously. Like I said, I see nothing wrong with wish lists. If someone comes in and clearly mooches, then that's another story. What we have here could quite possibly be a mis-communication.

Everyone has their opinion, and I respect that.

I'm closing this thread before it gets out of hand.
