My first time in shop all on my lonesome...

No one to pick my cigars for me.... was it an interesting trip!

I sat there for over 15 minutes just staring at them, head a whirl! I annoyed the rep for about the same amount of time trying to get him to compare cigars to the ones i have already tried and liked... Then I realized, hell just try em that's the only way to find out...

First expedition list:
1 cuesta de rey centenario belicioso maduro
1 cuesta de rey cntenario robusto maduro
1 trinidad robusto maduro
1 aurora preferido 1903 edition ( sapphire )
and some partagas black label prontos....

total trip $50.00 ( not what I expected, happy I walked away under 75 )

a half a$$ed attempt at self-sufficiency.... PRICELESS!!!


Humi got here a few days ago- :whistling: Been so busy I haven't made it home in days :( and I hadn't gotten a chance to snap some shots of it, But I am home, my cam is charged- and voila!!!

Nice line up.

The Centenarios are a very good, medium bodied, medium+ flavored cigar. I like to recomend them to people that are looking to try fuller flavored cigars. I especially love the Sun Growns.
 
Don't know what a "Pronto" is, but Partagas Black Labels are as close as anything comes for a 'go to' smoke for me. (Along with Fuente sungrowns and RyJ Reserva Maduro.)

If it's anything like the other black labels, you're in for a treat! :)
 
Very good!! :thumbs: I am impressed. You are developing a nice bold palatte to go along with that bold personality of yours. I have some of each of those in my humi. Now that I see that you are serious, I think that I might have to send you a few prize Fuentes and maybe some Padrons to keep in your new Humidor. PM me your addy and a bomb will launched.

Prontos are very small cigars in the tins comes 6 to a tin. My boss was curious so I gave him one to try.
I assume he will give me his impression.

Greg has proven to be a great BOTL. I have had the pleasure of dealing with him on a few occasions. Plus he let's me take care of his wife. :p (inside joke)
