well... got back this week from my lovely favorite playground, and it's time to start the other smoking habit I have...

SALMON!

PS... before anyone starts asking for smoked salmon, I have no idea how much I'll get this year (it's a bad year for salmon in some areas) so until I know for a fact no one is getting any, even my family!!!!

Not now... you'll just have to come up and get yer own damn salmon and put a lighter to it.
 
Very nice, when do you get that super special salmon that you can only get for a week or so a year. Have a few smokes for some of that.:)
 
I remember the days of fishing the Kenai (sp) river, yanking them in on eggs and borax, stuck to a spoon. Man we ate salmon for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
 
Dude.... that looks like it is more than you are allowed to have.... Send me some and I will keep it safe for you until you want it back..... :sign:

Yep, it does suck to live up here...a lot. It sucks farts out of dead pelicans. Every picture of Alaska you've ever seen was faked on a soundstage at Area 51. The place is a dump. Seriously, don't even think about moving or visiting up here. You'll hate it. :p

Jim...we really need to have our rootin', tootin', shootin' herf...with salmon. :cool:
 
Ahhhhhhh! Terrible flashbacks! I am recalling -40 degree temperatures, frostbite, jungle foot, thousands of gallons of fish guts, 126 hour work weeks! I gotta try that from the other side next time. Looks great! Did the commercial guys do well this year?
