Just got my package via UPS and I also have a moldy Captiva and a moldy and poorly constructed No. 60. I'm going to contact them about this, but in the mean time will these be safe in my humi if I keep them in the little box they came in?
I don't want the mold to spread and right now it is in the tube on the Captiva and under the cello on the No. 60, so it should be fine, shouldn't it?

I just looked at my other one that they sent me(Captiva), and that one has mold growing on it too. Could it be the cedar wrap that causes this to happen?

After speaking with them on the phone this afternoon they are sending me another sampler. The representative told me that it was just "plume" because the cigars were packaged so fresh. When I kindly explained to her that it was indeed mold, she offered the replacement.
If the replacements are in the same condition, I guess I'll just chalk it up to experience and toss the moldy ones and smoke the clean ones straight away.

It barely took a week to recieve them from the day I ordered.
I did find a small amount of what apears to be mold on the captiva
, but I like the wooden box the send the cigars in, and I was pleasently suprised by the shirt, so I am happy even with the 3 nice cigars

Got mine today and the Captiva was moldy,Not to upset the others looked fine and the shirt is great.

I thought that the Captiva I got had mold on it also.... wiped right off, quess it was plume.... It doesn't look very well constructed though... I'll post a pic when I get a chance.
