Johnny-O! Pricing & Sizes

Just a question.
Do the cigars come with a band on them?
Or in retail box?

Maybe someone can upload some pics of this cigars.
I hear only good things about them and I'm thinking on ordering a sampler or a box.

No boxes or bands they are custom rolled. I will say these are awesome cigars. I do not believe John does anything but 25 stick bundle. Check from time to time on the B/S/T forum and you may find a group buy where you can get a 5er.

No bands or boxes, just quality smokes. I just pick up empty boxes from my local tobacco store and put them in there.

Edit* Snap, beaten to the punch. Yeah, what he said. Picking up a sampler or bundle is definitely worth it!

Just smoked a couple of Johnny's fresh rolled cigars. Man! I haven't smoked a fresh rolled in a long time, it was one delicious stick to say the least.

I have searched the internet for Johnny-O cigars, and I'm still looking to find out more, anybody?

Hey throwback,

He usually posts his sales individually on cigar forums such as these, gartrader.com, and a few others. Your best bet is to just keep an eye out when they are up for sale, and then grab them when you can. It took me almost a year to finally catch a sale at the right time...

Here's a quick update:

Mag47 (6 X 47)-$160
Coronitas (5 1/8 X 42)-$85 box pressed
Canonazo (5 7/8 X 52)-$160 dark

Wish I knew a little more about these, I wouldn't mind trying a few PC sized.

Many Cuban rollers are having difficulty continuing their trade in the country.  This includes several of the popular rollers many are familiar with.  I know "smoke what you like" rules, but I would need additional information about these cigars to believe they are Cuban going forward.

The popular rollers that you are referring to may be out of work. It doesn't mean they can't roll. So you're a little bit misinformed, thats OK. Your comments remind me of a thread not to long ago started by a newbie wanna-be that insisted on openly discussing the authenticity of my cigars. It ended up with Rod telling the newbie to basically STFU. My integrity is not an issue here, many here know me since the 90's. Unless you're just trolling. John

John's CG's are smoking off the chain right now. Highly recommended!

I can assure you that I'm not a "newbie wanna-be" and if you knew anything about me, you would know I'm not trolling.  If the popular rollers were rolling, wouldn't it make sense that their cigars would find the "back door" here to the states?

I know more than a few people with very close ties to the situation in Havana and to say I'm "misinformed" is far from true.  If you think they aren't cracking down in Havana, I have two words for you: Abel Esposito.
