I started my new adventure today. I drove solo for 750 miles on my way to Minneapolis. I am spending the night in Laporte, IN. I was offered a smoking room and was told that I can smoke cigars. Well, a Davidoff Special R is being scarificed as I write. I am watching the Yankees woop the Twins! Life is good!

BTW, driving through Ohio was a bitch. Snow showers and squalls!

coupla years ago tossed the wife and dogs into the truck and drove to Seattle... in 3 days. Averaged 800 miles per day!

Guess living here makes you not care about distances as much... my favorite fishing spot is a 7 hour drive from my house!

It is not unusual here to ride 4 hours to a pub :whistling: Just to get away from the rat race
