I went in for my 2 week follow up and they said my swelling is about normal, but my range of motion is better than average. I’ve been pushing myself very hard at PT, and it’s paying off!

I’ve included some images for those who are interested…(you can stop reading here @CBoukal)

The piece with the arrow pointing at it is installed by drilling a small hole and then, literally, pounding it into the femur with a hammer!

The last one is of the actual joint in my knee before he closed me back up, so I left it as a thumbnail. Please don’t open it if you are squeamish!

Awesome! I've heard that the PT for a knee replacement is worse than other joints, but more important, so good on you for taking it seriously. Keep it up!

Wow, look at the shine on that joint! You're the $6 Million Dollar Man! 😅 Seriously, the PT sucks ass, but I've not talked to anyone who had this done who was not delighted with it in the end. Both knees and hip technology has come a long way in the last decade. Hang in there, Dawg!

How long is your therapy calendar? What's the end date?

Glad to hear you are healing well! Hopefully you won't run out of cigars.

BTW - The heart cutout in the middle of your shin dressing during the procedure is a nice touch.
