I was wandering what some of you thought of this vitola? I did a search and found some info, but I would like some more. I have smoked one of these, but not the longos. I loved the cazadore size, and generally like longos size of cigar as well. Any feedback would be very much appreciated.

The Havana brand??

Yes the one I believe ou posted about in 2007 :). THE VITOLA DISCONTINUED IN TE 80"s.

Ah...just wondering because I know there is a NC brand with the same name and this wasn't in the Island of Cuba forum.

Anyways, I love 'em! I have about a dozen left from my '86 box and they are probably the best vintage cigar I have smoked. Remarkably strong for being over 20 yrs. old and very complex. Market price is a little high for them imo, but well worth if you want to pay the price and can find a box.

You had a cazadores miramar? How was it?

I have and I would say in short I liked it. It was strong cigar as noted on some other sites, but I thought that it had some complex flavors that to this day I am not really able to identify. Believe it or not the cigar that most reminded of it was the Kauai Island Prince Momona. Just my taste I guess. Very complex IMHO. I have the opportunity get some for a pretty decent price IMO, so I think I may do just that :).

The going rate for the Longo's is right around $600 a box. IMO a GREAT smoke but not that great at $25 a stick.
