Laid up on a leg injury...

At least it happened on the job. Get it fixed right. Don't need to be woorried about your knee going out at the wrong time in your line of work. Hopefully just a partial tear and you won't need any actual surgery. Just scope it out a little and maybe have some loose miniscus or scar tissue to remove.

Good luck with that one souldog...I was off of work for 2 weeks due to car accident. I got to catch up with tivo and played alot of xbox 360 and ps3 games...I wish you a speedy recovery.

Just relax and take it for what it is, not much you can do about it other than make the best of it!
 
UPDATE: Went to the Doc's for a follow-up and swellings gone down. Doc wants to get an MRI, and he's pissing me off because I'd rather be at work. Guess he still thinks I tore my LCL, so my poor wife has to deal with my grumpy ass for the next week still. :angry: :angry:

Glad to hear you're getting better even though you probably don't know me. :p

As a former high school track runner, I must say that leg injuries are not fun at all. Sit back and relax! You don't want to rush your recovery!

Look on the bright side, hopefully this is something you can quickly heal from....THIS, on the other hand, is not.

I've been off the boards mostly for the past month or so. I just read this.

Bro, I hope your knee heals quickly. Now go buy a copy of Bulletproof Knees and get your ass back online.
 
UPDATE:

I just got back home from the doc's, and I had an MRI on Wednesday (02/25/2009). The results were supposedly going to be done by today, but the doctor called and the facility is swamped with work. I am being told that if my MRI shows clean, then I can go back to work, but only after I complete some physical therapy (pffft... :rolleyes: ). If the MRI shows a tear or something, I get referred to a orthopedist.


Thanks again you guys for all the support, kind words, and keeping me sane in this crappy time. I called my unit and they're hurtin' without an extra body, so I'm dying to get back out there! :cool:
