Last Fishing trip pic

OK... had to do it... rub it in one more time! My last fishing trip of the summer (it's moose hunting season now!)

The wife and I are sitting in Homer after a day of chasing silver salmon around Kachemak Bay... and a great day we had, too!

note the dog in there, licking her lips! They love salmon... their favorite treat is made from them.

Anyways, sorry... just had to post one more! (and yes, Mary caught the biggest fish of the day... :angry: )

Also had another great list of cigars to enjoy... even vitesea's Partagas Serie D #4!

those look liek soem awesome fish there bro. I jsut came back from fishing a couple hours ago and caught a cold, that and some small perch but nothing worth anything.

We are (or where- just got home)... we stayed at my sister's house- warm bed, dogs inside, cold beer, hi boat... and internet to stay current on CP! Ahhhh... life is good. Too bad I'm back in town and have to work tomorrow... ???

Great pics! Only been salmon fishing in Alaska one time and it was fabulous. I am going north in a couple of weeks for fishing in Canada, no salmon, lakers would be the closest thing and of course walleye.

Hmmm... I see it as this: I was driving the boat, baiting the hook, finding the fish and netting it for her. All she had to do was sit there and wait for the downrigger to trip and reel it in! :laugh: She was just lucky enough that it was her turn to grab the rod that caught the biggest fish...

Seriously, she does well fishing- she enjoys the hell outta fishing for silvers- they FIGHT! And, they're not bad eatin' either... plus she's pushing me into getting the bigger boat! :love:

Lookin good, Swissy. Silvers are the best fresh. We caught just a few when they first started to run up on the Deshka.
