Damn fine bottle for the price. I keep the empties for home made stuff like sloe gin.

Homemade? Have you got any recipes?

It doesn't really require a recipe

Pick sloes - .5lb per 750ml bottle
Wash and prick them (or lightly squash)
Put in bottle/container (air tight)
Pour in gin
Rest (min 3 months, longer is better we do 6-12)
Filter gin*
Put gin in purdy bottle
Drink at leisure
*May need doing 2-3 times to become super clean (I dont mind some fine particles)

You can add sugar to sweeten. We dont. Ends up tasting like cough syrup If you put in too much.

It's equal fruit to sugar
