Well the wife and I have found out were having a baby girl. Here is the problem we had a boy's name already picked out but can't settle on a girls name.

So here is the contest, The name has to start in an E, she wants it to start with the same letter as her and my Grandmothers. So give the name and the meaning of the name, the one we like best will win a nice little sampler pack of smokes.

Thanks for helping us work on a name, hope we can decide on one..

Steve

Ella- beautiful woman

Ellen- light, mercy

Elysia- sweetly blissful

Ema- beloved

Evelyn- lively, pleasant

Evie- life

Congrats on the new baby girl!!! Take care

Brandon

First of all.... COngrats!!

Etienette - French version of Stephanie

Euphrasia - Greek for 'advisor'

Enya - Celtic for 'water of life'

I wanted to call our daughter:

Elise - Consecrated to God.

We compromised and called her Lisa.

Congrats! Tkoepp already said mine too (Erin). Good luck!

If it's got to start with an "E", then it has to be Elizabeth. Meaning "my God is an oath" or perhaps "my God is abundance. Besides all that, it was the name of the greatest woman in Western history, Queen Elizabeth I of England.

Doc.

LOL some good names, the wife wants Ella i've been trying to talk her out of it. She just read this and says see now we have to use that name. LOL We'll see what else comes of this and then come up with a winner winner chicken dinner.

I always like this name:

Eloise

It's French. Pronounced el-oo-eese. It might be a mouthful to say that name everyday.

I also like KeyserSoze's Estella.

Crap, all the good ones have been taken. I'm left with "Elinor"

Congratulations, Hale!

Wilkey

Not many "E" names left but I will go with:

Evangeline: Like an angel

If your wife wants Ella and You dont, then take the compromis and chose Ellen. They're similar but not the same ;)

In Greek it means "light."
Other forms are Aileen, Eileen, Elaine, Eleanor, Ellen, Helena, Lena, Leonora.

Elegant, gentle, cultured. :)
