Hey all, hope everything is going well.

It probably hasn't been noticed, but I've been away a bit. I've had quite the past year or so to say the absolute least. I won't bother to bore anyone with that and just say this. I finally closed a a home Tuesday and I'm heading over there today to sit on my new patio out back and enjoy a fine cigar. I've been waiting on this day for a long time. I'm thinking a 2006 GoF.

All is going well for me personally, though unfortunately my father has been diagnosed with cancer of the stomach of which he is not expected to live more than 12 months from. I lost my mother to cancer about 9 years ago. Such is life. My dad is a big cigar fan, and resposible for my enjoyment of the hobby. Though he can't smoke anymore, last time I was home I smoked a nice Padron Family Reserve that I had been holding since the Padron event a few years ago. I hope I have another chance to burn a fine one with him again, but if not, it was a good one to remember.

Anyway, everything is coming together nicely and I can't wait to move all the way in to the new house. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll see you around everyone.

X3. Wyatt, you're one of the good guys and it's great to hear from you. Good news about the house, and my thoughts for you and your Dad on his illness. Hope it goes as well as it possibly can for you both.

You've got like nine months to get the brass to schedule their visit some weekend other than Outlaw Padron. Get on it!

As for not noticing, If they didn't notice, they haven't been here long enough. Some people raise more eyebrows when they disappear than if they post every day.

Been some big changes in your life the last few years............... Congrats on the new house and sorry to hear about your father.
 
Take care of yourself and family first Wyatt! Check in if you need some stress relief, I'm sure there's some stupid comment I'll write that may put a chuckle in your day.

How can I not miss a guy with a cigar named after him ;) :laugh:
 
Hey brother, good to see you pop in. Glad to hear that you closed on a house last week and I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I don't have to tell you to stay strong as that's one of your human natures. Hope to see you more often...... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Wyatt, I'm getting them to move the Padron event to late April next year just so you can attend. You better make it. :laugh:
