Yep, I've already got two boxes ready, one for psyktek and another for Captain B.
This is alledgely a lottery buy only two numbers ever come up
I don't think this lottery should run unless all the spots are filled. It's not fair if someone wins and they don't get the fuill complement of sticks the past winners got.
A while back when the second group was created some people from the first group wanted numbers in it. SD Stack agreed that only if spots went begging would people be allowed to get a spot in the second group.
That said I will volunteer for a second spot in group 1 if a) it is still not full as of a few hours before the drawing and b) it's a number other than my current group 2 number.

I just noticed you said you are #90 on Cigar Pool, if you can get some other members on here to vouch for you you may be OK, depending on what the other participants in your group think.
Otherwise what's the rush? You have the rest of your life to lose cigars in lotteries!

I just found CP,Cpool,etc on 12-23. this has been like on long xmas season so far. spending a lot of time just reading the posts, and looking @ how bad my local shop may be sticking me.LOL like I said I can wait. no worries, or rushes. later

I'm not in charge or anything but I think we should let piratelooks in the lotto. This is not a high roller lotto and if he doesn't pay up he just won't be in the next one. It's only a 2 stick loss at the worse. Just my opinion

That leaves one spot in each group open. I put lumberg in #0 group A if no one else wants it, but still have one whole. if its still open on hour before and no one objects i will put myself in the slot. That means I will have two spot in one group, which is not what i want to do so someone please take the open spot.

The drawing will be on January 10th, 2004 at 6:59pm - SC Pick 3 evening drawing. The first number of the three will determine our winner. ex: number 8-0-9 is drawn, the person with number 8 will win the cigar lottery.
Each of the other nine players should mail something special (2 cigars) to our winner in about a week. Make it something that you would smoke. No Swisher Sweets please unless they request some.

We could try rotating the duties. We take turns based on our position in the pool. Ellman did this one, so Fast4Dr would be next, then Davela, then me, and so on. When we get to the bottom of Group B, we just start back up at the top of Group A. That way we all share the burden a little. If somebody doesn't want to do it, then they don't have to. The duty can pass to the next person in the pool, but the person declining should send a stick to that next person just because I say so. 
And just to add one more twist, the "host" can have the option of using the Daily 3 drawing from their home state to pick the winners. If they happen to be in a state without a Daily 3, then we use the SC lottery as the standard. They must declare what lottery is being used when they take over.

Hi everyone, good luck tonight, especially hoping for #1.
Now, a little gripe: I have not received any cigars from ivan37 for lottery 11 & 12. This is now lottery 14 (as we know). I have PM’d him many times. After not receiving cigars for 11, he told me he sent them with no DC # and would resend some cigars with a DC number. After not receiving anything after lottery 12, his reply was "he sent cigars for both lotteries, again with no DC # and can't understand where the smokes went. After lottery 13, I made another inquiry to him he played the same song and promised to send them. As of today, nothing. I PM'd him 3 days ago for the last time and have not received an answer. I waited until the mail was delivered today, just in case. I guess if its not worth $.45 cents for a dc #, what kind of dog rocket should I expect? (sounding familiar?)
I expect him to be tossed out of the lottery all together.

If you can’t send them in a timely fashion, let the winner know. If you’re not going to send cigars to the winner, drop out. We're talking a few decent cigars here. The lottery is a fun idea, but when you have to keep asking for your winnings, that takes the fun out of it.
