Devil Doc
When Death smiles, Corpsmen smile back
When I went to Corps School, a long time ago, I remember our Company Nurse, as salty a LCDR who ever wore the uniform, telling us that in every war, giant strides are made in the practice of medicine. Our claim to fame was the triple amputee. We have now been outdone. A Marine has returned to duty with a prosthetic leg and not behind a desk, but to combat. This was unthinkable when I served.
