What's everyone doing for Memorial Day? It's gonna be a nice 80 here in Los Angeles, so I'm heading out to the beach for sun and volleyball this weekend! Of course with some smokes and lots of beer. :)

:D It has rained for forty some odd days, seems like it anyway, and Monday probably will be no exception. I have a full of activity planned with a group. There will be food, fellowship, games, and some live music that evening. I will surely enjoy a stick or three and most likely my first ISOM (thanks Joe). As for some beer and such, I am allergic, I break out in handcuffs!! ....no really....
:D :sign: :sign:

Well I have a 4 day weekend, so plenty of time for some R&R, which is exactly what I am planning on doing.

Within an hour of arriving home from work tonight, my new living room furniture and big screen tv will be delivered. So going to get the living room set up the way I like it! The other half wants to go out partying tonight, so while she is out, I am going to sit back with a drink and the Ashton VSG Spellbound and watch one of my favorite movies on the new big screen - Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings, wide-screen deluxe/editor's cut version.

Tomorrow will be a chore day and getting my home PC back up and running. Caught a virus on it last weekend and it took my computer back about 12 months to a restore point and then wiped out all of the restore points since. This means I lost a lot of information, including of course proper setup of my cable modem drivers and internet conneciton ability.

Tomorrow night, the other half and I will probably go out to dinner and a movie - I am trying to convince her that she wants to see Matrix: Reloaded, but she loathed the first movie, so it's a hard sell.

Saturday during the day we don't have any plans and we will probably sit around the house and just relax and enjoy each other's company and finish setting up our house the way we want it.

Saturday night we have a couple of friends coming over for dinner, cocktails and socialization.

Sunday during the day is another free day, though I am thinking about us going to Oak Mountain State Park and going swimming in the lake in the afternoon, early evening.

Monday, I have absolutely no idea of what I am going to do as of yet - whether we will be out running around or just sitting at home.

Throughout the weekend, I plan on enjoying at least one or two fine cigars per day. Catching up on some reading and studying of some medieval history - most notably the first crusade, the war of the roses and the battle of Hastings.

Yep, just R&R. Any AL members of Cigar Pass or Cigar Family are more than welcome to come over - just send me an IM here and I will get back with you on a time and directions over to the house.

Everyone else enjoy your weekend!

Sam

Not sure yet. May take the kids to the Springfield Mile (flat track motorcycle race) on Sunday, if the rain holds off. Doesn't sound like it's going to be warm enough for the beach around here though!

my wife and i have a free weekend with no kids!!! :D
and it's supposed to rain most of the weekend.
i'd like to hit a yard sale or two or a flea market i'm looking for a pool table. wife wants to go see bruce almighty. i love jim carey!
hope to get a few smokes in but it will depend on the weather!
also plan on doing the horizontal bop! :p

We're headed down to the San Antonio area for the weekend to paint my folks back porch. It's screened in and runs the length of the house...sits on the 12th fairway of a very nice golf course. ;)

Then headed further south to Corpus and Padre Island...smokes, rum and yes, the horizontal bop. :)

Then back to the folks place to pick up an igloo full of frozen goodies, then home.

Cool and rainy weekend here for the holiday.

Saturday I'm running my local cigar shop while my buddy goes and see the family up north. I will have to spend the entire day smoking cigars and talking to people about cigars. Gee it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it! :D :D :D

Sunday and Monday just relaxing and hoping the weather cooperates enough to do some cooking on the grill.

Hope everyone has a great holiday.

Well, the usual weekend chores mostly. But I'm hoping to get up to Arapahoe Basin for a little skiing. I think (hope!) we're supposed to get some rain too on Monday.

Well guys, my girl and myself are going down to Tampa (Ybor City) for the weekend. We're going to go bar hopping, cigar store hopping and like the rest of you, horizontal bopping..... :p

I'm going to the cigar museum and I found a bunch of cool cigar friendly places to hang out. I'm also planning to purchase some ceegars that I've been holding out for for a while.

A four day weekend painting the house. I'd rather be flying but I may have to move and a fresh coat might maake the place mor showable.

Can't think of a nicer, more knowledgable guy to do it. :D

Have fun Bill

It's Cold, Rainy and my plans to attend the Floral Park Knights of Columbus picnic have ended since they postponed it to June 28th. I will though march in The Memorial Day Parade on Monday.

I will be thinking of some great grilling ideas for this weekend, then it is off to the hospital. I hope I can bring along a couple of smokes :p .
