Well, I knew my wife was up to something.

She kept getting phone calls and running in to the bathroom and talking quietly. So I said "what's going on?". I got the obvious "nothing."

But then after it all fell in to place she had to tell me.

I got a present I've wanted for 9 years tonight.

I'm now a proud dog owner!!

Meet Bendi the Boxer :)

Wow what a fantastic present, VERY cute! This summer I almost had the wifey talked into letting me get a boxer. I love those dogs!

Congratulations!

My sister has a Boxer. I love 'em. I wish I could have talked my wife into one. (I do looove our Golden Retriever, however...)

Good luck to you and have fun!

That's AWESOME Wyatt!!!
Beautiful dog right there! I really want a Boxer (or a Chocholate Lab), but not 'til I get a bigger house!!! ???

Congrats on Bendi... Hang on to wife you got there too!!!

A beautiful pup. Congrats on being a dog owner. I plan on volunteering in town next Spring walking the dogs at the Pound and the Vet clinics if they will let me since I cant own a dog in the apartment and I need some motivation to exercise a little.

What a CUTE baby!! I am not a boxer fan but they can be adorable and yours is OUTSTANDING in that department! As a dog lover, have a wonderful time with your new "kid"...you will need it, but it will be the best time you have ever had :)

Ahh... the joys of dog ownership! Congrats!!

And if anyone pisses you off, you can now mail them fresh dog rockets!

Now that is a cute puppy. Boxers are great for high energy people (and I get the feeling you are ;) ). Bendi...it looks like daddy has a new princess. Congrats Wyatt. That makes me wonder if I can convince Laura into getting one!

Dogs make great companions....we have 3; all strays.

As soon as my wife agrees to stop collecting them, I'm going to get a Chocolate Lab. :)

On a sadder note, our 13 year old beagle (Bailey) is doing very poorly lately. We go to the vet today. Note sure if he'll end up in Dog-Heaven or not. Wife and kids don't want to let him go...I'm having mixed emotions too. However, his quality of life is pretty low and I don't see it getting any better. :(

But no matter the outcome, he's a great ol' boy and I wouldn't trade him for nothin'.
