Met Ernesto Perez Carillo of El Credito today

So I was at my fiance's graduation and bored out of my skull. Fortunately she was one of the first ones called so I was able to go outside and be bored in the frsh air. While I'm outside, who walks up to buy a soda? Ernesto Perez Carillo of El Credito cigars and La Gloria Cubana fame. I introduced myself, told him I liked his cigars. He asked me who I was there for. Congratulated me. And we went about drinking our sodas.

Quick conversation, but he seemed like a really nice guy.

Those El Creditos are pretty good for a low budget smoke :thumbs:
(They're "seconds" of LCGs, correct?)

I received some as "extras" when I won CigarPool and I was impressed with them.

That is correct sir. There is a bundle "El Credito" that is a second to La Gloria. There is also a premium "El Credito" which is the name they use overseas since they can't use La Gloria Cubana.
