Might be another interesting hunting season

My friend has a game cam maybe a mile down the road from his cabin. When we were up there over Memorial Day weekend and checked it, there was a grizzly sow and 2 cubs, a moose, mountain lions, linx, and several wolves that had all walked past it just in the 3 or 4 days prior to him checking it!

Sweet! That video is at at my son's camp. The camera is on the front porch.

Yeah, it was pretty crazy, definitely didn't go anywhere without a gun after seeing it!

Sadly, the only thing that wasn't on the was elk, which is what they're actually looking for.
Being in a place like that, where you have to carry a gun, and think about everywhere you go, makes you forget about life's daily tribulations pretty quick!

We head to Pa. to my son's camp Next Wednesday, First day is next Saturday. I will be there for two weeks.

Just heard today about another lost hunter in the area we hunt. Luckily they found the guy alive after two days. It was very close to where John @jfields shot his deer in October. It's very desolate country and easy to get twisted around.

Last year we were standing by the trucks after we had put on a long drive and saw nothing. My nephew pointed and said "I'll bet there isn't anything in that direction for 10 miles" We checked GPS and he was right, no roads, no houses, nothing but hills, mountains, streams, coyotes, elk, bear, fishers, rattlesnakes, etc.
