I just want to say thanks for the enjoyment I've received from reading this pass front to finish. Whenever I log on, I come here first! I can't wait til I start to fit in a little and get the opportunity to join in on one of these. Everyone involved in this pass has made it seem so fun!

Heh, that's pretty funny, since *I* don't even check my own passes first (I always check if there're any new open passes for me to join :D)

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it. Note that I just opened another pass and it'll be taking subscribers for a couple weeks. It's a little bit geared toward newbies, but old-timers who haven't been jaded by it all are welcome, too. Also, there's a great thread by a genius author <giggle> about how to sign up for your 1st pass in the open passes forum.

And they're a great bunch of guys, too -- this WAS fun! Thanks again to everyone for making my first pass way-fun! :)

Read the article. It is great. Luckily, I found that the first day I found this site so it kind of set the stage for me. Thanks. Don't know if it was an offer to join or not, but just in case: I'm currently located in a spot that would take about 2-4 weeks each way for shipping, so I'll not be attempting to join any passes for a while. I return to Monterey in December though (hint, hint for any one contemplating a winter time pass :D ) and might attempt to join one then. Who knows, after reading all these in progress and completed passes, I may just attempt to start a "sort of homecoming" pass if there isn't one being set up!

December is one of the best months for a cigar pass! Other good months include January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October and November :)

Hey, drop me a line when you get home. I live right up the road from you (Santa Cruz Mountains), and dive MRY frequently (esp in December! :) ) We'll get together for a beer and a cigar or something.
