Molson Beers

The XXX amounts to a malt liquor that is sold as a premium in the US, which I happen to like.

Always been a fan of the Golden, due to reviews in Consumer Reports (yes I am a nerd--I wonder if CR has reviewed cigars?)

The ice I guess is a kind of in-between.

FYI the XXX is like 7% ABV ice is like 5.6

Don't know the stats on Golden.

The best of the bunch for me is Molson Dry, but it's still not great.

Can't really say I'm a fan of those. My favorite Canadian beer is Unibroue.

For the record, Molson XXX, which is sold as a premium beer here in Ohio, is one of the most God awful worst beers that I have ever had - and I have had some bad ones. For those of you familiar with Old Nick - a British ale - XXX compares most terribly to it. Rancid. Putrid. Disgusting.

Back in the 90s, Molson had a Special Dry which was one of my favorite beers. That is gone but I think Molson Dry is the same thing...and it is good. I like Molson Golden also. XXX was a real let down...if it is Malt Liquor then it is even bad for that genre...I would rather have Little Kings or St. Ides any day!
