I HATE MORNINGS
My morning rituals vary from grumbling and tossing the covers over my head to grumbling and making my way to the kitchen to retrive one of 5 daily redbulls- depending where I wake up..

How do you all receive a new day?

Well I have one of those alarm clocks that gradually increases the volume on the Mr. T experience CD until I'm all FDSFDSGUEIW<KNWR

Then I hit the snooze button.

Then I go downstairs and fund Billy, and get us both started out the door. At this point I am also usually pouring myself a cup of coffee from the carafe.

Then I just kind of fart around on the computer and/or watch TV. Billy is old enough that once I make sure he's bundled properly, he can wait and board the bus himself.

Then I get bundled up and go out the door, get in my car, and drive to the Metro station.

Wake up?

I thought everyone stayed in bed all day ???

I usually set the alarm clock 10 mins before I want (have) to get up and then wake up 20 mins before its supposed to ring and toss and turn until it does and then lay the extra 10 mins cursing life in general... Then I get up S/S/S and go to work where I have to be in at 7:00.

On the weekends I usually sleep until 9:30 10:00 though

I look at the alarm, say fu(k a couple of times, grumble, throw one leg over the edge of the bed with all the force I can muster, and try and catch myself when the momentem kicks in and almost topples me to the floor. This gets the blood going. Otherwise, if there is a cutie laying next to me I.... never mind.

Greetings all...back from the Virgin Islands. Wonderful Christmas there and looking forward to ushering in the New Year's here on So. Beach. Hope you all had a great Holiday as well, and wish you all a Happy New Year's.

As for this thread...no lie....every, single day I'm up at 0430 for a pt session. Pound the iron daily, cardio as well, all until about 0730, back to my pad to clean up, have my own concocted power-fruit smoothie, then start the day. Even on the weekends, can't sleep past 0430. Wake up without an alarm clock.

Slacker!

Used to be hard to get up :( . Now I wake up on my own a few min before the alarm clock. Get up; take my vitamins hop in the shower and off to work. The weekends I wake up around noon maybe usually, kind of make the funny face trying to figure out what that taste in my mouth is and what I all did last night. Then roll over just check and see who if anyone else is there. From then on its hazy.

I set 4 alarm clocks. The last one to go off is accross the room. When that goes off an hour after the first alarm sounded? I know I have to get up or call in sick.

Edit: On the weekends? No alarm and I'm always up before 9am.

I'm good if I get up when I wake up, usually around 5-5:30. If I then go back to sleep for another hour or so, I wake up all tired and not wanting to get up. Weird to say the least.

I am officially old.

My mornings are usually in the afternoon...Damn crazy work schedule. Mr. Jerry's coffee gets me awake.

Lol...I would figure, sorta by default, it would. You gotta do something once it wears off and you roll over.

I set my alarm clock 20 minutes fast, then I snooze for 30 minutes before arriving to work 10 minutes late.

Setting your alarm clock forward seems like it only works if someone else does it without my knowing. If I do it, I'll always end up doing the math in my head in the morning, and I'll know exactly when I need to get up to be on time. Then I'll sleep 10 minutes more.

I'm such a slacker.
