Wed night would be ideal...i gotta drop my son off in S. Arlington at 8pm...then I can buzz up to Grapevine.

Got dat box from Horse last night in Grapevine. We sat and listened to some Wa Wa Wonderful Tunes on his truck CD Turner. If any of you guys haven't listended to some good 4 Part Mens Acapela, you got to check it out. I tell you, that music is of the purest form, and when you couple that with good company, and a good cigar (Thanks Mark) it is something to remember.

I hope someday I will be able to participate in a Pass the way the rest of you guys do, but I guess I need cigars in my humi to do that, eh? But anyway, here goes...

I looked at the Blonde Dragon, started to, then decided to leave it for The Beast :D It did look like it would be one fine cigar Mel, and next time I hope there is MORE of the Dragons in the pass, but since that Blonde baby was the only one left, I decided not to take it and let one of the more well rounded passers enjoy it.

I passed the Box by hand to TommyRox this morning so it should be back in the mail very soon :p (Fast aren't we?)

Brother Mel, it was a pleasure to play, and next time you start a pass, I will be more prepaired.

Oh, BTW, there has been some shipping damage to a couple sticks, #4, that little AF stick is a total loss, It is still there but in pieces (if anybody has a pipe, that might be a way to save it), and #37, the Cuban Parejo is not far behind it, still might be salvageable if someone has a repair kit tho.

I added a roll of small size bubbles when I passed it to Tommy, so as to pack the boxes so the sticks can't move around, hope that stops the damage. I also repaired the Himidifiers as a few of them were in pieces in the boxes. And I put a bit of Distilled on em, though here in Tejas Central we got 92% today so Humidification is of little use to us. ???

Anybody seen a big box of smokes?
 
I gotta tell yall, I talked to Tommy about this box. When it was mailed to horse, the cost of it was $14 and change, Horse did his thing, I did mine and Tommy did his. Horse increased the number by a few sticks, I increased it by 1 and Tommy did as well, so a total of maybe 4 or 5 cigars, and I added a small roll of bubble wrap. We are talking Ounces, of difference, a very few ounces. They wanted to charge Tommy over $30 to ship it USPS without Insurance. He was able to ship it FedEx for about $13 and that included automatic Insurance.

I think that may be a good buy, don't you?

And it appears as tho it has arrived at it's destination, so I guess it is allright. Waiting to hear from Grand Rapids!!
 
Yesum...PB...the box did finally make it's showing and has arrived here safely in Grand Rapids.  Those FedEx people sure aren't in much of a hurry...I would have to agree with Leebo.  Although if USPS wants $30 to ship this damn thing...no frickin way am I forking out that kind of lute to mail this thing...that's bullsh*t...I'll do as Tommy did and FedEx it.  I'm not sure why the price doubled after the addition of a few sticks...that doesn't make alot of sense...but I sure don't fault Tommy for shipping FedEx.  This is one heavy ass box.  Mel, you got one hell of a pass coming back your way.  Smokes look great...It'll be a job deciding what take.  I'll post my puts and takes and have this baby hittin the highway by Monday. :D
