If it ain't Scottish...it's crap!
Well, as you guys may (or may not) remember, i bought my new house 2 months back. After 2 months of late nights and long, back breaking weekends, we have completed the remodel and are moving in this saturday! i still have some tile work in the kitchen to do (backsplash) and paint a few walls in the stairway to the basement, but other than that, it is good to go.
We had to replace all the bathroom fixtures, the entire kitchen and countertops, new appliances, installed new solid oak hardwoods throughout the entire house, got the electrical up to code, new baseboard moulding, interior doors, kitchen and living room lighting and lots and lots of paint! been a lot of work and lot of money (you know they say budget 10-15% more money than you think you'll need? make it 20-25% more).
Tonight is a night for some celebration, i have a Cohiba Lancero from '03 that is on the slate as a sort of victory smoke, so no matter how cold or damp it is tonight, she is getting fired up and enjoyed by this aching homeowner!
