I posted a while back that our cat "Smoky" loves to sit on my chest when I'm smoking a cigar (and she only does this when I'm smoking, normally she sits in my lap).

Well yesterday I clipped the tip to a AF Don Carlos #4 and it slipped through my fingers and bounced under some furniture, well I bent down and couldn't find it, so I (like a typical male) put it out of my mind.

About 10 Min's ago I see my cat crouched on the floor chowing down on something, I immediately though "Oh she got another bug." And reached down to make her spit it out.

2 scratches and one bite wound later I pull the thoroughly mauled cigar tip from between her jaws.

lol silly cat, I'm damn glad she can't open my Humidor, she would be worse than a beetle attack.

Here she is relaxing her nicotine buzz off...

My dogs tend to do the same thing. One of them routinely goes after whats left of the nubs once I toss them. They always lick the unlit end, jump back a few feet and cough, then walk away. They never learn their lesson.

She also likes to lick my fingers after I'm done.

Cigar smoker in a past life? I should be so fortunate to come back as a cat.

Let me get thlis straight. You can't own a firearm in DC, but you can own a cat like that? America, never ceases to amaze me.

That's not a cat. Meet a couple of my cats.

WTFs up with the one with the big fat body and little tiny head?

She eats alot!!! But can do 0-60 in 3 sec. But these are not mine. I wish they where!!! But they belong to the Columbus Zoo where a friend of mine looks after them. What a great job. My son and I had the opportunity to meet these guys up close and personal. Great experience.

My cat loves cigars, too! I've witnessed animals addicted/enjoying a variety of intoxicants. Critters like to catch a buzz. We are critters and we do. :D

However, eating only a small amount can be dangerous. Most likely it would just get sick and learn a life lesson, though.
