Well I am back on the plane tomorrow.
After a weeks’ vacation up here in this wonderful part of the world I must go back to the grind.
Craig, I thank you very deeply for the hospitality and for the pleasure of your company. I got to smoke some stuff from you that I had only dreamed of and I am deeply grateful for it. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the selection I had gotten you and I hope you find some firsts of your own as exciting as I found yours. I am also so glad you decided to come out with us for late diner. You listened to my wife and her girlfriend talk about high school like a pro. I was getting more tired there then you were
And, the Partagas Culebras, was of course forgotten  back in Ottawa. So I bought another one at LCDH and we shared that! Thanks from all of us, as we (Paul, Mark and I) all enjoyed that first thing sitting down with our drinks.
Once again, you were a great gentlemen and I am glad to call you friend.
Paul and his dear friend and brother-in-law Mark, met me at La Casa De Habanos at about 1 on Sunday afternoon.

(I am the one in the suit, Paul is with the full beard, and Mark is clean shaven).
These two guys were another great set of good BOTL. I tried to bomb them both silly and I think I got them pretty good. I only wish I had the foresight to take doubles of everything for them to share instead of box over the singles they each wanted :whistling:
But... these guys handed it right back to me with some very special stuff which, again I had never actually seen and only heard of.
Paul and Mark I am so glad to have had the opportunity to make new friends with you and to have enjoyed my afternoon with you both. Your company was great. The restaurant that night was also great and everyone was very glad you came with us. Though next time I must go get better smoked meat then I had before meeting you.
Well played by all and thank you all so much for helping to make my vacation a better one. I can only say my door is open to any of you at any time, and hope you feel free to come right on through it.
I also want to thank the rest of the family who helped out. Marco, that restaurant was great. Bison tartar with Foie Gras was amazing and well worth the long wait for reservations.
Doc, I only hope we can have you as a guest next time, and I hope your trip out East was a very relaxing one.
So, my Northern bretheren, stay warm and smoke often. I willl see you all next time out.
So very much care,
Matthew
