My Day In Montreal.

There were all sorts of attractive, well dressed women at the airport in Dorval lastnight! :)

Montreal is an awesome city! I'm sure you'll love it.

IMHO, the best steakhouse in town has to be: Gibby's! (LINK) Unfortunately, can't smoke there, but trust me, you will not leave there hungry!

The LCDH and Stogies aren't too far from each other...the Montreal Museum of Fine Art is on Sherbrooke just a few blocks down from the LCDH (and ironically enough, when I was there about 6 months ago, their main exhibit was the art of Cuba  even funnier was that the gift shop was selling empty Cuban cigar boxes, mostly lower cost brands like Flor de Cano, for $25 CND).

The LCDH lounge is a must-see, very peacefully with a good bar and espresso. And as people have already said...cigars are EXPENSIVE (I'm talking ~$40 for a RyJ Churchill expensive...and like $30 for a robusto), so if you smoke a lot, I'd suggest bringing your own from home...but if you're anything like me, you won't be able to resist buying a few sticks. The staff is usually very helpful and if you look carefully, you'll find some boxes already with some age on them and even some old discontinued sticks (if they still have any H. Upmann Super Coronas, BUY THEM NOW!!!!!!)

Of the two, I spent more time at Stogies. Great little lounge and one of the last places you can still smoke in. Drinking scotch is, surprizingly, the better deal...as I found that, with a pretty inflated price for beer, it really wasn't too much more money to get a good dram, and the selection there is very nice. Stogies has a little humidor room...prices about the same as the LCDH but nowhere near as large a selection.

So go get yourself a Gibby's steak that's as thick as a brick and juicier than an apple...grab yourself some smokes and maybe some cool Habanos accesories or swag at the LCDH...then have a little nightcap and a good smoke at Stogies.

Have fun!
