My Father-in-Law passed away last weekend. He had been ill for some time now, but we were still a little bit surprised. It's been a tough few days.
He was a Navy man. Did his 4 years during Korea and got out. He was buried at DFW National. That was impressive. Short and sweet but very powerful. Not a dry eye in the house during taps!!
He was quite a guy. He did much for this area during his career. In addition to the Obit, the local paper called and interviewed all of his children. They did a very nice feature piece on him. I've included links below.

BTW....a special thanks to all the local brothers here in Texas (and a couple in the outer reaches). I had posted a PM to most of them a few days ago. Your notes to me meant a lot and I very much appreciate your kind words of support and encouragement.
