Being the boss is not easy. easpecially when you are the only employee :)

Salary is not what it is cracked up to be. It means long hours and 7 days a week most of the year. This year I was told we were going on a vacation with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her family and of course my wife and two kids.

This is kind of a memory type of vacation since my wife has an incurable cancer going on three years and everyone wanted to go. She will be starting on treatments for the thrid time in three years and I expect her to boss me around for years to come but here I am.

Vacation is a week at a private lake front home on Lake Michigan near Holland MI. BTW, You can see the cottage

Enjoy, you certainly deserve it. My thoughts are with your wife and family.

That brings a smile to my face. :)

Enjoy the present and best to you and your family.

Wishing you and your family the best of luck, and I hope you have a great vacation.

Sounds like you are enjoying a well-earned vacation. Best wishes to your wife, enjoy the rest of your trip.

Today we car pooled to a wooden shoe factory and the kids grandmother bought them each a pair of wooden shoes. My son wore his the rest of the day. I told him he better like them, they were his school shoes for this fall.

As far as tourist attractions it was a hole in the wall. We then drove almost an hour to a quilting & sewing store. Please shoot me now :)

Ended day 3 w/ a VSG. Wife joined me with a Tat Groovey Blue.
