This week I bought two 30 packs of premium at about $75 a pack. Not premium smokes, but premium gas to fill up my Yukon on the same CHEAP ASS drama queen weak minded California-grown home buyer.

This chick sells her 3/4 million dollar home in Palm Springs...and comes to the desert not to buy the same size house for a 1/3 of the price....but she wants to spend $130,000 on a 2-3 bedroom house in places like Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, or get this....Sedona.

NOPE!!!

I'm thinking some sh*tty part of Phoenix or Surprise (yes there's a dump city called Surprise out here). I tried telling this person for that kind of money, this is what she gets. We looked at 31 homes in 3 days. The ones she liked....her "friend" who moved over here 2 months ago is telling her...oh no this is a bad part of town. I know this isn't the typical word to describe a woman, but she is an a$$hole!

Why am I b!tchin about it....because I'm going through CP withdrawls. Tonight she calls me and says, I think I'm going to go back to California for a couple of weeks to visit my mom and we can go through this again when I come back.

A$$HOLE!!!

Ah the wonderful world of real estate! I thought about getting my license when I retired then I thought to myself why would I want to spend my time dealing with people who are oblivious to what they have to do to prepare to buy/sell real estate. Dealt enough with jerks like that when I was working, don't need to jump back into that again.

My area is going through a seller's market right now, average time for a house to be on the market is two weeks top. If you don't have a commitmant letter from a bank/mortgage company before you go looking you're screwed. It's just amazing how stupid most people are when it comes to real estate.

I don't think the finance side is any better. My mate is in the mortgage business and the stories she tells me about people and their expectations. :sign: It's really quite amazing how naive many people are when they enter the real estate/ mortgage process.

BD...sorry to hear about the frustrations with your client. smoke a nice stogie, and sip some fine adult beverages, you'll feel better...and just mutter the words you wish you could say to this stupid **** ditz of a person, take care. BTW...put my condo on the market last night...in the market for a new home here in RI. let the fun begin!

Are you kidding me! a little extra work for all those millions you are making from other people, and your complaining?!

Hang in there amigo, it's almost the weekend!

BD, you're in sales so I'm sure you already know it's all about creating a win-win situation. It's gotta be a win for both of you. If it's not a win for you, ya gotta cut her loose.

A $750,000 house in Palm Springs is the equivalent of a box on the side of the road. The closest city I could find comparison ratios for is Encinitas and it's no where near as exclusive as Palm Springs.

A home with a market value of: $750,000 in Encinitas
Can be expected to cost about: $284,000 in Phoenix

You should buy a Prius to take your customers around in. :)

Well I've seen pictures of her old house. And although it definitely doesn't jive with the typical "palm springs-ish" pad, she still has after her old taxes, realtor commissions, morgage, etc., she's got a little under 600K in the bank.

$284,000...........YEAH FREAKIN RIGHT! She started getting nervous if I took her over $150K

She says, I want to have enough money to do upgrades and have some nice furniture. Maybe Rob-K can come in and do a nice kitchen for her ;) :D

Anyway, I thought I was done with her for 2 weeks but she wants me to meet her at one of the homes we already saw before she flies out.

And I thought of words like the "B" word, even the "C" word...but nope, she's still an A$$hole :angry2:
