I have had to go to Orlando for the last several months once a week or once every other week. I found a place, Sosa (run by Sosa Cigars) that has great people working there and nice pours on the limited supply of decent bourbons! They only have Knobbage (Knob Creek) and Bookers. The employees do not know a lot about cigars but they are learning, as the place has only been open a couple of months. It is in Downtown Disney on Pleasure Island. Many of the patorns are taking refuge from the Mouse's House and enjoying a cigar and beverage in a decidedly adult environment, not cheezy just no children. The selection in the humidor includes many different brands including Opus. The prices are higher than the local B&M but not like Vegas.

One of the guys there was from Philly and he said $19.00 for an Opus was a decent price for him and he can't find them regularly. Seems a bit high to this Midwesterner.

There have been quite a few women in there puffing on cigars each time I've been in there, ususally with thier dates.

Anyway I took a couple of photos.

edited to add...I am not in the picture.

Did they close it for some reason? Because I was down there... hmmm... maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and had a cigar there. There was no bourbon selection though. At that time, it was a very small place, just one guy working there, with very limited seating. Maybe a small couch or two right in the front near the window.

Great tip. I am going there with the family in early November. This will definetely a stop one evening or two! Thank you.

This is a different location from the original Sosa shop, which is still there. The new place is located right in Pleasure Island near the other clubs. I'll be going in September and will definately be checking out the new spot.

Wow!!! Are you kidding me! I am a HUGE fan of the Mouse and visit annually. I will definately have to check this out. ...er...pics are not coming through on my end.... do they have leather chairs or sofas? I am going in December for Christmas. (I don't have to decorate or shop for the kids!) And having an "adult" night with dad, bro, and wifey.

MUST HAVE SMOKE AT SOSA!

Thanks for the info...you made my day.

Sweet! I'm going there first week of October with my GF and another cigar smoking couple. I've been concerned that we'd have trouble finding places to herf. I was there several years ago for a national robotics competition (my son; his team took the gold medal :D) but didn't get to actually see the park because of the match schedules. I'm looking more forward to this now. :)

They are located in Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney, they have 2 shops. One is the bar lounge type deal that opens until 2am if I'm not mistaking and the main shop is about an 800 meter walk down the street from the bar with a very selection of smokes and decent/better prices than the bar and they close around 9pm. I go down there once a year for about a week.
