To replce my totalled SUV, I went for the FJ Crusier. I drove the new Highlander, and the RAV4, but as soon as I sat in this, I knew I wanted one. here are a few pics...

Wow, I wouldn't have thought I'd see a good looking toyota, but that looks pretty nice.

I'm not sure about how I feel about the white top, but I love everything else about those trucks!

I saw one parked outside my building at work about 6 weeks ago and loved it right away.

The wifely unit has been in the market for a new SUV-type vehicle so I showed it to her and she wasn't as impressed. ??? Anyway, IMO, it is a very nice ride!

Very nice ride! Those were on the top of my list when I was car shopping. But since I drive about 25,000 miles a year, I decided to go with something with a bit better gas mileage and bought a Subaru Forester. But those FJ Cruisers are sweet! So, I'll live vicariously through you. Enjoy!

Sweet ride man! I am starting to see them everywhere now! Best thing about it is that it's a Yota! You can drive it forever!

Very nice looking Rob. Was certain I wouldn't like it before the picture came up, but it looks schweeet.

Well done.

VERY cool Rob!

I have a Highlander and love it but when they said they were coming out the new FJ, I SERIOUSLY considered trading it in!

Congrats bro!

Actually the original Land Crusier FJ40 was built in 1960, long before AM General was in the mix, the white roof was painted that way, so the truck was easliy spotted from the air out in the jungle or on safari. most are used for rock crawling nowm and a ton of the originals are still in use today in jungle and desert regions over seas.
Thanks for the compliments and well wishes, I really loved my highlander, and it certainly proved itself in the accident my wife and i were involved in, but this is the next level of SUV...more of a utilitarian feel, the cab is all rubber, so it can be hosed out, no carpet to stain in this one!

Very nice!

I've just started to see these rolling around in Delaware and always in blue/white. A very distinctive and strong looking vehicle. I requested the info pack on this just for chuckles and was impressed by the level of technological sophistication embodied in the FJ. It makes any Ford/GM SUV seem about as sophisticated as a cardboard box on a skateboard by comparison.

That is what I would really like to have, is an old school FJ40. Only bad part is one in great condition will cost almost as much as a new FJ Cruiser. Hope you like the new ride, looks great  .
