When an established member offers up a trade, sale or group buy, and requests (for obvious reasons) that only people they have dealt with in the past contact them, why do others feel they should be able to respond if they don't meet those simple criteria?
HERE is a prime example. From his responses later in the thread, it is obvious that there were people responding that had no business doing so. Complete newbies who have only been here a day or two and don't know shit, unfortunately I can understand. They're just dumb. But if you've perhaps been here a few months, maybe even 6 months and don't meet the criteria, then don't respond! I've experienced this myself in the past, and it kind of sucks having to deny someone who may or may not be on the level, putting me in the position of having to make a judgement call, and be the bad guy for saying no.
I might host another group buy real soon, in fact the cigars might even be on their way. But I'm hesitant to post about it for fear of these people responding and my having to be an asshole and say NO!
Bottom line, if someone offers up something, because they're helping us out or doing us a service, and request that only certain people contact them, please honor that request!
