I'm gonna be in Nashville from the 26th of September until the 1st of October. I'm stayin' at the Sheraton, downtown and should have evenings free. (work stuff during the days)

Holler at me if ya wanna get together for a smoke or two.

C'mon now, I'm sure Nshville isn't that bad! A lil' country music while tippin' back a bourbon and burnin' a cigar....what else can top that!?!?!

Heck, I may even have to break out my cowboy hat and boots for the trip! :lookup:

I visited Nashville in 07/01, me and 10,000 barbershoppers from all over the country. At any given moment for a week, people were singing on every corner, in every restaraunt....hell, even Jim Ed Brown gave up his set at the Grand Ol' Opery to let the Gas House Gang (now retired) do a second set...the crowd went nuts for em. :thumbs:

I was in Nashville for a conference last in July 2003 and loved it! I was staying at the Hilton Suites next to the Country Music Hall of Fame and I had a great time. You can check out the Jack Daniels Bar... it's in the Hockey Arena, the Country Music Hall of Fame, some cool shops along the river and if you like bbq you gotta try Jack's Barbeque for some killer ribs and brisket!

Eddie George's Sports Bar was in the Hilton and I had beers and cigars there and even got Eddie George's autograph. I don't know if it's still called Eddie's but that is a great place to enjoy a smoke and have a cold brewski while relaxing!

I wish I could join you Floyd... we'd have a blast!

Cigarsarge & macupdale are in Jackson which is about 100 miles southwest of Nashville.

You driving or flying Floyd? 4 1/2 hour road trip sounds like lots of time to enjoy cigars during the ride

My wife is in a school in Nashville next week. If I can find a babysitter for my grand-daughter I had considered going up Thursday night. I'll let you know if I can make it.
