Often tough times create situations like this...it may not be the case, or it may...but like tone-ny pointed out...there are definitely other more suitable sites for this kind of thing.

I agree with that, but if 90% of the activity is in the B/S/T and the member doesn't contribute elsewhere, then it's obvious why they are here.

Amen. I've had a problem with one particular member for well over a year now because it seems that's all he does is stay in the B/S/T. I certainly don't have a problem stepping on toes, but you always have a few people come to their rescue and you end up looking like a dick because someone is stepping to the plate for them. What irritates the piss outta me are the ones that post 25 times in 3 days after nothing in the past 4 months to become "active" again right before they post their sale.

This is hard to come up with a solution, bc most of us are a member for the right reasons! I don't mind putting up a couple of sales to share with the community. But, when all it becomes is sell, sell, sell for a few members who are not in this for the right reasons, it becomes a problem. A few years back, I needed to sell off a bunch of my smokes bc of the situation I was in. It was for the right reasons bc of tough times...I can say what we should do and set up rules, but then what if any of us were in a desperate situation?
