Hi everyone,
Melly got back from the doctor's last night for a checkup on some abdomen pain she has been having. The doctor after proding, poking and all that is uncertain of the problem but to be on the safe side wants Melly to undergo a Thalium (spelling?) Test. Apparently in this test, they hook an IV to you, have you do some cardovascular on a treadmill, pump you full of some dye and check and see if the dye is circulating through the body correctly.
Her father, after losing a lot of weight had a heart attack, so we are fearful of that and a good friend of ours who is our junior by several years has already had one. With Melly not yet 30, this is the type of test that you don't want to hear that you have to take.
Today she will be notified of when she needs to go into the hospital (I am assuming it is an in-out procedure pretty much) to undergo this test. In the meantime I am asking the family to keep her in her thoughts, prayers, meditation, whatever it is you do. I appreciate it.
Sam
