I'm with you 1,000%!I'm starting to grow concerned. I've already noticed a distinct fall in the quality of the DPG cigars I've ordered in the last year or so. I hope the brand isn't getting stretched too thin.

But, I keep hoping he'll redeem himself.

Are we talking about cigars under Pepin's own label (e.g., El Rey De Los Habanos, Don Pepin Garcia) or are we talking about those made for others (e.g., Tatuaje, Cabaiguan, 601)?
Right. But neither does it guarantee a cigar that is widely perceived as "good." For example, look at the ultra-pricey Edicion de Silvio from Perdomo. Pretty, fancy (over the top packaging) but widely scattered reviews ranging from sublime to papery and dull. A cigar of such high aspirations should have a tighter and higher distribution of reviews.I hear you guys on the stretching the name thing, but something about this label tells me they are trying to go high quality on it.
I don't think they'd take any cheap poorly made line and name it "My Father".
