Looks like I need to replace the clutch on my truck. Lucky for me, it looks like the extended warranty will cover the labor I'm just out the deductible and cost of the clutch. How are clutchs so much money for a wearable part?

I need to stop reading when my wife is watching TV. Her project runway obsession made me think purse on this. Shoot me now.

Yes well I was thinking a new crop of birds. Not nearly as girlie as purse but not as manly as the actual clutch!

How much was the clutch kit Jon? $350 bucks or so? Much cheaper than the cost of an automatic transmission if you think about it.

I feel ya man. I got lucky, the clutch went out on the Shelby and I was 400 miles from being out of warranty. Ugh. Twin disk ceramic racing clutch = big money.

The kit was $320. The overall cost wasn't nearly as bad as a new transmition, but DAMN. I drove my truck yesterday and the new clutch has a new feel to it. Better drive this one a little easier.
