anyone had that new joya de nicaragua monstrosity? its like 6 x 50 or something outrageous like that? i picked one up today at the local and im just wondering if anyone else has had it.

I always smoke the JDN Atanos. They really have a nice punch to them.

Yes the Grand Consul, Gran Reserva is a great cigar! I can't imagine this new one would be any less. This was the last cigar I smoked at the Quad City Herf.

I really like the belicoso, but the Grand Consul is just too much in your face strength and not enough flavor. One of the few cigars that I have looked at and said...I just can't smoke this. The ring gauge is also way too large for my tastes. Now, if they made a lancero.....

I agree with Bill these are stronger than your average smoke. The flavor is excellent though.

I've had it. It is a heavy smoke, but not the beast it looks like. It does have excellent flavor, as well.
